  • Location: Pacific Quay, Glasgow (Hybrid – Remote Fridays)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

We’re on the hunt for a midweight Strategist to join our team and work closely with our Senior Strategist to lead strategic direction across the agency.

Being an effective Strategist means adding clarity of thought to everything you do. You need to offer empathetic but evidence-based insight, not just opinions. You’ve got to be agile across multiple clients and projects with a breadth of knowledge. Above all it means helping make the work we do better.

You’ll work across the full range of clients at Frame – from small start-ups to market-leading multinationals in the worlds of Sport, Corporate and Consumer. Regardless of whether a project is PR, social, advertising or fully integrated, you will be there at the start helping to guide it.

This is a unique opportunity to genuinely develop strategy that will live across earned, owned and paid media for clients across Europe – and work with our Creative, PR and Digital teams to bring it to life.

Your perfect for this role, if:

    1. You’re curious – You get excited about things most people find boring and you genuinely want to understand people and what makes them tick – and you’re prepared to the do work to sit in their shoes

    2. You’re a flexible thinker – You can bridge the gap between being business-minded and a creative thinker, you don’t rely on rigid frameworks, and you can pivot approach when required.

    3. You’re put getting the right outcome over being right – Marketing and strategy is a notoriously opinionated field, but at Frame we pride ourselves on putting our egos aside and working together to get to the best work. Our teams and clients all come from different backgrounds and we work at pace to deliver work, so being someone people like to work with is essential. That doesn’t mean you’ll be a pushover through – we’re looking for someone to be constantly gently challenging in order to make work better.

    What you’ll do at Frame:

    • Independently lead strategy and research for client projects

    • Take briefs for clients and work closely with them to refine the ask

    • Conduct and manage research to inform briefs

    • Work collaboratively with our PR, Client Service and Creative teams to turn strategic

    • Support new business through pitches, proposals and thought leadership

    What we’re looking for:

    • The role is for a ‘midweight’ strategist or planner - someone who can hit the ground running on live briefs.

    • For that reason, Proven experience in marketing, brand, PR / communications, media or digital strategy is required.

    • Whilst you don’t need to have been in a ‘strategy’ or ‘planning’ role by name, experience contributing significantly to strategy and research in some form is essential.

    • At least four years’ experience in a marketing or research field

    • (Or) at least three years’ experience working in or with a creative agency

    • A proven interest and passion for branding, advertising and/or creative PR

    • Fluency in English
